Particularly in Vietnam, the number of people infected accounts for more than 20% of the population of the country (1 out of 5 people are infected). Hepatitis is also the main cause of liver cancer and cirrhosis with the 2nd highest mortality rate after cancer.

Even up to 90% of people are infected without any symptoms because the hepatitis virus progresses silently and can only be detected through blood tests.
