    Tracing millions of people with hepatitis - World Hepatitis Day on July 28

    Up to now, there are more than 2 billion people infected with hepatitis virus in the world. Particularly in Vietnam, the number of people infected accounts for more than 20% of the population of the country (1 out of 5 people are infected). Hepatitis is also the main cause of liver cancer and cirrhosis with the 2nd highest mortality rate after cancer.

    Up to now, there are more than 2 billion people infected with hepatitis virus in the world. Particularly in Vietnam, the number of people infected accounts for more than 20% of the population of the country (1 out of 5 people are infected). Hepatitis is also the main cause of liver cancer and cirrhosis with the 2nd highest mortality rate after cancer.

    Even up to 90% of people are infected without any symptoms because the hepatitis virus progresses silently and can only be detected through blood tests. Therefore, finding out millions of people who infected to have them the proper diagnosis and treatment, thereby helping to reduce millions of cases and deaths of hepatitis virus each year.
