What is Trans Fat?

There are two typical: good fats and bad fats. Trans fat belongs to the group of bad fats that cause heart disease. They are formed in the process of food processing by hydrogenation while cooking in order to preserve food longer and tasty.

Which food contains Trans Fat?

Trans fats exist in natural foods also industrial foods including meat, cakes, cookies, pies. Specifically, trans fat can be found in many foods such as:

• Cakes: crackers, cookies, cakes, cakes, baked goods and other baked foods

• Fast food: fried chicken, pizza, chips

• Fried foods: potato cake, banana cake, donut

• Processed foods: popcorn, snacks, instant noodles

• Shortening and margarine: margarine of different types (bars and bottles)

The Harm of Trans Fat
