Job Description

  • This position locates in the mental health department of Care Plus clinic. This position will work closely with the Department Lead to coordinate the Mental Health program. The person holding this position needs to work regularly with partners, clients, collaborators, and Care Plus internal departments to ensure that mental health services run smoothly and effectively
  • Often work with Call Center Team, Sales & Marketing Team, Clinic coordinator or any department that related to operation of Mental Health services.
    Developing and Implementation of Mental Health Service SOP:
  • Assist Mental Health Department Lead in the setting-up stage of the Mental Health Department, including and not limited to procedure development, community outreach and networking, resource allocation.
  • Implement and oversee the adherence to Mental Health Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure the seamless operation of services.
  • Incorporate mental health service procedures into Care Plus's existing internal operating processes, ensuring clear communication to other departments about the specifics of mental health services (clinical, individual, and needs).
    Internal Collaborati
  • Liaise with various departments including medical secretary, call center, marketing, insurance, and legal to ensure the effective provision and utilization of mental health services, aligning with the needs of clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate mental health care seamlessly into overall patient treatment plans.
    Client Care
  • Work directly with individual clients, explaining mental health concepts in an easily understandable manner, obtaining consensus, and fostering active collaboration.
  • Assist clients in referral and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with co-operate clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of mental health services and the benefits they can bring.
    Training and Development
  • Assist in training customer service/call center employees on performing intake duties, including completion of intake referral information, obtaining appropriate consents, conducting initial assessments, and making referrals as necessary
  • Prepare and organize health events, webinars, and training sessions to enhance mental health awareness and education
    Collaborative Relationship Building:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with counselors, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists in collaboration with the Mental Health Department. Ensure smooth communication of collaborators' requirements to Care Plus and vice versa, aligning with Care Plus's values when engaging with collaborators
    Administration and Documentation
  • Provide administrative support and ensure accurate, timely documentation of cases.
  • Collect data for Team Leader when assigned and prepare timely reports.
    Other responsibilities
  • Represent the team at meetings, events, and training sessions as needed.
  • Assist the Team Leader in assigned tasks, contributing to the overall success of the Mental Health Department

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience, referred in health sector
  • Experience in crisis management work including the assessment and management of risk in individuals with mental health concerns.
  • Highly effective team-working skills with a naturally collaborative approach to service delivery and able to liaise effectively and positively with others, including those without experience in supporting mental health concerns.
  • High level communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of individuals and groups in a clear and professional manner.
  • English IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Hands-on experience in running outward-facing, creative, and dynamic events focusing on mental health and positive wellbeing
  • Significant experience of a problem-solving approach and the ability to develop a service provision which will complement and blend with existing support structures
  • 48 hours per week, sometimes required to work on weekend
