Job Description

  • Establishing the legal unit of the company.
  • Researching laws, decrees, circulars... related to the field of operation of the company.
  • Advise the board of directors on the law.
  • Responsible for checking the legality, and legitimacy for all transactions of the company.
  • Ensure all procedures and operating procedures of the company are legal.
  • Research, find out, and regularly update the latest information on the law for management, and departments.
  • Responsible for carrying out procedures related to documents and processes such as establishment, change, and trademark registration..
  • Prepare legal documents of the company. Check, edit, and complete legal documents, issued documents, and transaction documents to ensure compliance with the provisions of the enterprise law, the labor law, and other regulations of the Government.
  • Manage legal documents and records of the Company according to regulations.
  • Contact, and deal with external agencies to solve the work assigned by the superior.
  • Participate in legal proceedings as assigned by the company's leaders to ensure the interests of the company.
  • Other tasks as directed by the direct manager.
  • Responsible for reporting to direct management on assigned tasks.
  • Based on the above tasks, build a detailed daily, and weekly task table, process, and work instructions. The standard job description should be cited, depending on the function statement of the relevant department.

  • Assisting in the provision of legal and corporate affairs matters for the Company and supporting operations on legal matters.

  • Providing guidance on corporate governance, negotiating and drafting contracts, risk management, and the development of plans and policies.

  • Any other ad hoc tasks that are necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Graduated from Law University or above, majoring in Corporate Law or above.
  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel handling commercial and industrial relations matters or relevant positions.
  • Excellence in attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and authoritatively to a diverse audience, and to explain complex regulatory legislation and principles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure that confidential data is handled in a sensitive manner.
  • Experience in developing systems, designing processes, and leading change.
  • Have a sense of compliance with the organization's assignment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Expert negotiation skills with the ability to manage relationships with diplomacy and tact.
  • Strong command of English both written and spoken and possesses strong drafting skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and the Internet.
