- Those who have had one dose of any vaccine, it is best to get the 2nd dose of that vaccine.

- In case of limited vaccine resources, it is possible to combine by injecting two doses of Pfizer vaccine to the person who has already received one dose of AstraZeneca vaccine. If the vaccinated person agrees, the interval between two injections is 8-12 weeks. The administration of 2 different vaccines may increase the common post-injection reactions such as fever, headache, muscle fatigue, etc., to mild to moderate severity. Still, most of these side effects go away after 48 hours.

- The Ministry of Health emphasized: Do not use Moderna vaccine or other vaccines for the second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.

- Those who have received the first dose of the vaccine produced by Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Moderna, the second dose will only be administered with the same type of vaccine. Spacing between two stitches according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Specifically, the 2-dose interval of the vaccines is as follows:

  • AstraZeneca vaccine: 8 - 12 weeks
  • Moderna vaccine: 4 weeks
  • Pfizer vaccine: 3 weeks
  • Sinopharm vaccine: 3-4 weeks
