Children's development is a remarkable journey marked by exciting milestones. Each stage brings new skills, from the first wobbly steps to a bright smile and a friendly wave.

The Importance of Early Identification and Screening for Developmental Disorders:
The exact causes of developmental disorders are still unknown. However, some risk factors may include: Exposure to harmful substances during pregnancy or after childbirth (such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs,...), premature birth, poor nutrition or health problems such as chronic ear infections and vision problems, childhood trauma
Research suggests that only 20-30% of children with developmental disorders are screened and receive timely support before school age. Developmental screening provides parents with valuable information about their child's development, allowing them to seek appropriate and timely support.. Supporting children before they enter school age offers significant benefits as it lays the foundation for their future success.
In terms of learning, early screening helps identify difficulties and warning signs of learning and attention disorders in children. In terms of emotional and social aspects, early screening provides an accurate assessment of the child's condition, preventing misdiagnosis or incorrect categorization. Additionally, early intervention helps children develop essential skills, overcome deficiencies, and acquire important abilities, reducing the need for costly interventions later.
