Hormones play an important role in women's skin and health. In a healthy woman, the body produces the required amount of hormones. But after the age of 35, the ability to produce estrogen gradually decreases, causing an imbalance.

Hormonal testing is the necessary tests to evaluate and monitor the function, performance, and capacity of the ovaries. Based on the results, obstetricians and gynecologists can evaluate the reproductive health status, early detect abnormalities in hormone production that affect women's life.

Women of any age of reproductive age are encouraged to have periodic hormonal tests and check 1 -2 times/year so that any problems can be detected promptly. However, women over 35 years old, especially those with one of the following signs, should take action as soon as possible:

  • Menstrual cycle disorders

  • Abnormal Menstruation

  • Menstruation is very little or too much

  • Women who are amenorrhea (primary amenorrhea) or have missed periods for more than 3 consecutive months (secondary amenorrhea)

  • A suspected case of ovarian polycystic disease

  • The body is constantly tired, depressed, and sleepless

  • Sweating, hair loss

  • Uncontrolled weight

  • Difficult to lose weight

  • Skin rashes; Skin pigmentation, gradually dull, dry and wrinkles quickly

  • Hirsutism
