Negative COVID-19 test results still need to comply 5K

7/15/2021 5:10:40 PM

These days, many people in Ho Chi Minh City and some southern provinces take advantage of proactive COVID-19 rapid tests to get a passport to travel between some regions, cities, or work.

However, everyone should be especially aware that the COVID-19 test results are only valid at present (the testing time). If the COVID-19 antigen rapid test result is negative, it means that at the time of the baseline test, you did not have the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

But, no test is 100% accurate because there are errors in the trial, or if the time you take the test is the first 1 or 2 days after infection, it is difficult to test for the disease because the viral load at the time of infection. that is still low.

Therefore, a negative test certificate does not mean that a person cannot be newly infected. If measures to prevent and control the epidemic strictly follow, there is still the possibility of infection with SARS-CoV-2 as usual. For example, a person who has just received a negative result for SARS-CoV-2 but is likely to be infected if they get on a car, train, or meet other people without complying with 5K.

In particular, with long-distance travel and traffic activities, people have to strictly follow the 5K message: Masks - Disinfection - Distance - Do not gather in large crowds - Medical declaration, etc., because the current epidemic has spread in the community anyone can be F0.

In the 5K measure, note "do not gather" in crowds with strangers because anyone can be F0, and "report medical" because when near F0, the authorities will trace them out immediately.
