HIV IS NOT A DEAD END

HIV IS NOT A DEAD END

Join ThS.BS Nguyễn Thị Thùy Liên to learn how to live healthily and fully every day!

🔸 There was a time when HIV was thought of as a "death sentence" — a dark fate that caused many people to live in fear, loneliness, shame, and prevent them from integrating into society.

🔸 But today, thanks to continuous advancements in medicine, HIV is no longer a "death sentence." If diagnosed early and treated properly, people with HIV can live healthy, long lives and experience life to the fullest, just like anyone else. All it takes is understanding and applying the following principles:

▪️ Regular treatment to suppress the virus to undetectable levels.

▪️ Actively prevent opportunistic infections.

▪️ Care for your physical health and nourish your mental well-being every day so that every moment is filled with vitality and meaning.

🔸 In Vietnam, since 2019, the K = K campaign (undetectable = untransmutable) has been officially launched, affirming a crucial fact: "When HIV viral load is suppressed to undetectable levels, individuals with HIV cannot transmit HIV through sexual contact."

💟 This not only helps protect your loved ones but also gives people living with HIV the right to live, love, and build a future without barriers or discrimination.

🔔 Therefore, to live confidently with HIV, individuals with HIV should actively protect themselves by:

▪️ Consistently following treatment every day.

▪️ Regularly returning for check-ups and tests to monitor health.

▪️ Keeping a positive mindset, loving, and taking care of oneself.

"HIV IS NOT A DEAD END."

If you catch it early, treat it properly, and live confidently, you can make this disease a small part of your life instead of letting it "take over" you.

👉 Don’t let the fear of discrimination stop you from actively protecting yourself and your loved ones.

👉 Get tested, receive counseling, and begin treatment today!
