Targeted Whole-body Imaging Screening Tests (TWIST) is a focused full-body health screening package that flexibly combines three key imaging techniques: Ultrasound, CT scan, and MRI. The integration of these techniques expands the scope of examination, increases sensitivity and specificity, and enables the early detection of dangerous diseases, particularly in high-risk patients.
TWIST applies three main imaging techniques, each with its own strengths:
Targeted Ultrasound: Rapid assessment of key structures such as the neck region (thyroid gland, cervical lymph nodes, carotid arteries) and abdominal-pelvic ultrasound to examine the liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, prostate (men), and uterus with adnexa (women).
Low-dose Lung CT scan & CAC Score:
- Lung CT scan: Early detection of lung lesions, especially in high-risk individuals such as smokers.
- Coronary artery calcium (CAC) is an imaging technique used to detect and quantify coronary artery calcifications.
DWI whole body MRI:
- Evaluation of the brain, entire spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), pelvis, and hip joints.
- Detailed assessment of abdominal organs to detect early potential abnormalities.
- The combination of these three methods optimizes the screening process, ensuring accurate detection of potential abnormalities that a single technique alone may not be sensitive enough to identify.
DISEASES DETECTABLE BY TARGETED WHOLE-BODY IMAGING SCREENING TESTS
- Brain: Brain tumors, encephalitis, cerebrovascular diseases (stenosis/occlusion of cerebral arteries, vascular malformations, cerebral aneurysms), early-stage neurodegeneration.
- Neck region: Thyroid diseases (nodules, goiter), cervical lymphadenopathy, salivary gland diseases, carotid artery stenosis assessment.
- Lungs: Lung cancer, lung nodules, pulmonary fibrosis, pleural effusion, chronic lung diseases.
- Cardiovascular system: Coronary artery calcification assessment, cardiovascular risk prediction.
- Liver, pancreas, spleen, kidneys: Liver cancer, cirrhosis, pancreatic tumors, chronic pancreatitis, splenic tumors, kidney stones, renal cysts, kidney disease.
- Prostate (men): Prostate enlargement, prostate cancer.
- Uterus and ovaries (women): Uterine fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts.
- Musculoskeletal system: Spinal degeneration, spinal osteophytes, herniated discs, osteoporosis, hip arthritis.
WHO SHOULD GET THE SCREENING?
The TWIST screening package is designed for customers who require advanced or supplementary health screening, focusing on state-of-the-art imaging diagnostic techniques.
Recommended for
- Individuals aged 40 years and above, or younger with risk factors.
- High-risk groups, including:
- Those with a family history of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or cancer.
- Individuals with a history of smoking, obesity, or metabolic disorders.
- People with chronic conditions requiring regular, long-term monitoring.
- Customers wishing to upgrade their current screening programs, adding ideal supplemental imaging tests to enhance the value of basic health check packages, corporate health screenings, or basic laboratory tests — enabling early detection of lesions and assessment of potential risks at a deeper and more comprehensive level.
BENEFITS OF EARLY SCREENING
Early and accurate detection of dangerous diseases: TWIST helps detect malignant diseases (cancer, cardiovascular diseases) and other abnormalities in their early stages before symptoms appear.
Optimized diagnostic efficiency: The combination of ultrasound, CT, and MRI overcomes the limitations of individual methods, enhancing accuracy.
Comprehensive health evaluation: Examining multiple important organs simultaneously provides an overall picture of the patient’s health.
Personalized screening: The process can be adjusted for each case to ensure maximum suitability and effectiveness.

B. ADVANCED IMAGING DIAGNOTICS
1. Targeted Ultrasound: Consultation with a radiologist, followed by an initial ultrasound evaluation:
- Neck Ultrasound (Thyroid, Lymph Nodes, Carotid Arteries)
-
Abdominal – Pelvic Ultrasound: Examines the liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, and prostate (for men) or uterus and adnexa (for women).
2. Lung low-dose CT-scan: Early detection of lung abnormalities — especially useful for individuals at high risk, such as smokers
3. Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) score: Assesses coronary artery calcification to help detect early signs of atherosclerosis
4. DWI whole body MRI:
- Brain MRI
- Pelvic MRI for Uterus| Ovary
- Abdominal MRI - Liver| Gallbladder| Pancreas| Kidney
- Full Spine MRI
- Bilateral Hip Bones and Pelvis Bone Screening MRI
- DWI whole body MRI
