a. EYES CHECK/ OPHTHALMOLOGY

You should have a periodic eyes check when:

Heart ultrasound is a imaging technique used to visualize the functioning of cardiac muscles, heart valves and blood vessels. Echocardiography helps:

• Follow up of heart valve disease
• Evaluation after treatment or surgery for heart disease

c. THYROID ULTRASOUND

Thyroid ultrasound supports the detection of thyroid disorders such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism ... These conditions are at higher risk for the following:

• Over age 60
• have autoimmune disease;
• Have a family history of thyroid disease;
• Have a history of either being treated with iodine or antiretroviral therapy;
• Have radiation treatments on the neck or chest;
• Have had thyroid surgery;
• Being pregnant or giving birth within the past six months.

Hepatitis B and hepatitis C are common in Asia and Vietnam has the highest rates of hepatitis, according to the World Health Organization. Hepatitis B infection in Vietnam accounts for 10-20% of the total population.

The high-risk factors of hepatitis B include:

• Drink lots of alcohol
• Abuse of paracetamol
• Blood transmission of the virus (Mother-to-child transmission is the most common cause in this group, the other causes are shared needles or unsafe infusion ...)
