The cause of the misaligned teeth?

1. Bad habits:

Children often put objects in the mouths and this habit causing misaligned teeth. In addition, other habits such as sucking hands, pushing tongue, sucking on pacifiers, sucking bottles for a long time, grinding teeth also affect the un-aligned teeth.

2. Deciduous teeth disappear prematurely

3.Transmission

  • Doing oral hygiene regularly and properly. Practicing brushing habits after meals with the right size toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
  • Limit feeding sweets, especially at night to avoid tooth decay. Give the child a variety of foods rich in protein, calcium, especially vitamin D to strengthen teeth.
  • Have your child for dental check-ups every 6 months to early detect the risk of deviated teeth and promptly dental treatment.

In case of detecting that the teeth are deviated or crowded together, parents should take the baby to the dentist for advice. Depending on the condition, the doctor will prescribe an appropriate treatment such as braces or porcelain crowns.
