Timely and adequately intervention and treatment of eye problems will be the “key” to help you stabilize your vision.

Whether you have an eye exam for a baby or an adult, you need to maintain a regular schedule to ensure that you monitor your eye health and take care of your eyes and intervene when you have eye problems.

  • Children from 3 years old and under: For children under 3 years old, parents should check for crossed eyes (crossed eyes), amblyopia, congenital nearsightedness. Screening is also done to rule out rare diseases in children, such as congenital cataracts and retinoblastoma (eye tumours).
  • Adolescence: it recommended A thorough eye exam every 1 to 2 years during routine check-ups or eyeglasses for children with refractive errors.
  • Adults: As you age, ageing eye diseases are more likely to occur. Therefore, if there are no problems with the eyes, you should have a routine checkup every 2 years to monitor the progress of vision changes and ask the specialist to schedule a follow-up visit after that.

If you have ever had eye problems or are at risk of developing one (family history of the disease), see your doctor every year.
