Mô tả công việc

The Facilities & Technical Manager provides leadership and direction related to all clinics and head office on maintenance, MEP systems and processes. In addition, will take a leading role in the refurbishment and set-up of new clinics.

 

The position also coordinates and provides direction for the department’s day-to-day operations, including financial control, equipment preventive maintenance schedules. Develops strategic partnerships with a comprehensive list of professional vendors who provide ongoing maintenance/repair/refurbishment services for all clinics and head-office. 

 

Clinic facilities supervising & technical duties:

  • Ensure all general building maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner including repairs and infrastructure maintenance (except IT and medical specific areas).
  • Monitor and ensure all outside contractors perform to expectation and deliver contractual obligations.
  • Oversee facility refurbishment and renovation projects and ensures that clinic expansion and renovation activities are on time and on budget.
  • Liaise with the Landlord/property owner for management & maintenance technical matters. Ensure administrative procedures are followed strictly.
  • Works with vendors and PCCC department for full fire safety compliance.
  • Develops and enforces guidelines for vendors who participate in maintenance, refurbishment activities, etc. (i.e. Safety, cleanliness, working times, etc.)
  •  Checking all facilities and rooms, and report any issue that needs maintenance/repair to ensure all clinics look like 5 star facilities, if not yet reported by the FOM/Nurse, etc.;
  • Document and report any dirty wall, broken furniture, leakage, etc.
  • Work with Ops Director to develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements such as annual certifications and updated emergency plans.
  • Monitor execution of Maintenance plan and report to Ops Director of any issues, ensure quality of maintenance on site when supervising maintenance tasks on-site.
  • Market analysis on prices of materials, calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness and coordinate with the purchasing and finance department to ensure best prices without compromising on quality.
  • Oversee environmental health and safety including development and maintenance of emergency preparedness plans;
  • Coordinate maintenance of facility and equipment alarms and system failures. Work with the compliance department to ensure all refurbishment and maintenance projects are compliant with DOH guidelines, and the guidelines of all other regulators.
  • Provide periodic reports on activities and budgets to BOD.

Yêu cầu

Job experience required:

  • University graduated (building services engineering is a plus)
  • At least 3 years experience in a related field
  • Good communication skills - including the ability to communicate technical information
  • English: speaking & writing fluently
  • Problem-solving
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to operate calculator equipment.
  • Respect for and ability to follow Clinic’s Confidentiality Policy.
