Currently, real-time molecular biology test RT-PCR and rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen are two methods that the Ministry of Health has approved to diagnose COVID-19. However, each method has different effects. Therefore, depending on circumstances, proper tests will be applied.

When performing the test, there are some new cases, the amount of virus that has not yet multiplied in large numbers that show negative test result while they already have the disease. Or there are many other cases where the test results are harmful for the first 2-3 times, and the next time is favorable.
